Why We Built This Site
Public access in Iowa starts with knowing which office keeps which part of a matter. A judicial officer issues a warrant. The Louisa County Clerk of Court keeps the filed District Court docket, including traffic, criminal, simple-misdemeanor, and municipal-infraction cases. Police or the Sheriff may serve process, while the Sheriff also handles county jail questions. The restricted IOWA law-enforcement system is not open for public searches. Because one online docket check cannot settle every status question, the site brings together verified court, city, and Sheriff contacts and explains when direct confirmation is still needed.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to an Iowa court, law-enforcement office, or government agency. Its limits include the following:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Outside providers operate search boxes shown on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup may generate a referral payment that supports site operations. Third-party results are not an official Louisa County warrant confirmation, and this site does not control their accuracy or charges.
